Splice Trays Fiber-Conn offers splice trays for both wall-mount and rackmount enclosures. The trays are designed to provide maximum physical protection for fusion and mechanical splicing, and they can be used with both loose tube and tight-buffered cable design. The trays consist of an aluminum bottom base and Plexiglass cover for easy viewing of the splice. The proper size can prevent induced attenuation due to fiber bending. AP-SPLC6 / 6'' splice tray / 4.5'' x 6'' x 0.4'' Aluminum bottom with Plexiglass top allows technician to view splices, preventing pinching with lid. Accommodates 12 splices. Available with splice chips for most types of splicing (i.e., bare fusion, mechanical, etc.). Wall-mount applications |
